Trump on Thursday took to Twitter to express his gratitude for his new boss and promised to keep the “American dream alive.”
In an interview with Recode, Trump said he is ready to “do whatever it takes” to get the American dream “right.”
The president-elect has made many promises during his presidential campaign, but one of his biggest was to get Americans back to work and help create jobs.
During the 2016 election, Trump claimed that he was the only candidate who would create good-paying jobs for Americans and he promised to create 25 million new jobs over 10 years.
In December, Trump also announced that he would be appointing a new Secretary of Labor.
He also vowed to “get rid of all regulations that are killing jobs and keep jobs in the United States.”
