US travellers should be aware of some of the latest information regarding the travel industry.

The US Transportation Security Administration said on Tuesday that a recent “unspecified” incident had exposed a “significant and significant” vulnerability.
This isn’t the first time a British airline has been targeted by a terror attack, according to the Department for Transport.
In 2014, a suspected terrorist blew himself up near Heathrow Airport while passengers were on board a flight from Istanbul to Manchester.
“The US government is not surprised by this incident and is fully committed to working with the UK Government to improve aviation security,” the department said in a statement.
The US Department of Homeland Security has also been working with airlines to better secure the airline industry and increase the level of safety awareness.
“We continue to work closely with airlines, and continue to share best practices, and we continue to monitor all of the ongoing threats and opportunities that aviation presents,” the agency said.
